News from Camilla Trinchieri : The paperback of The Price of Silence comes out June 2nd and Il Prezzo del Silenzio was released May 20th in Italy. Says Camilla, "It's the first time a book of mine gets translated into Italian and I am thrilled for obvious reasons."

The April issue of Smithsonian gives quite a write-up about Rob's feats that led to the catching of a thief of historical documents. How appropriate that Rob's a mystery writer (and winner of the Derringer Award). The photo on his Web site (www.roblopresti.com) is the same one in the Smithsonian. Now, who would try to get away with anything with those librarian/eagle eyes?

R. Barri Flowers, coeditor of the first American Crime Writers League Presents: MURDER PAST, MURDER PRESENTS, has sold the anthology to Twilight Times Books.

He also has had several mystery stories accepted into the Amazon Shorts program and now live, including "Ripper--Part 1," 'The Phone Call," "Deception--Part 1," and "The Jury Has Spoken."
